Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil feels that the North London club are
capable of winning multiple trophies this season.
The Gunners are currently third on
the Premier League table, seven points behind League leaders Chelsea with just
eight matches to play.
Arsene Wenger’s charges are also on
course to retain the FA Cup where they face Reading in the semi-final next
month.
The Germany international told Arsenal
Player: “The most important thing is that we win games as a
team. Of course it’s nice if I can give an assist or score a goal, but really,
what’s most important is that we are successful as a team.
“We’re rightfully near the top of the
table and in the semi-finals of the FA Cup again. I think we can win trophies
again this year, and if we do that, we will be satisfied.”
Arsenal hope to make it seven Premier
League wins on the trot when they play Liverpool after the international break
at the Emirates Stadium.
