Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germaine are reportedly lining up a sensational bid for struggling Manchester United winger Angel di Maria, in the summer.

The Argentine international, who joined the Red Devils in a British transfer record last summer from Real Madrid, has struggled to adapt to the English game.

The Parisians were keen to sign the 27-year old last summer but the move fell through due to the Financial Fair Play regulations before he moved to Old Trafford in a staggering £59.7m deal.

The Premier League’s most expensive signing has not lived up to expectations at Old Trafford and it is suggested that United are ready to cut their losses at the end of the season.

United manager Louis van Gaal recently admitted that he has no guarantee that Di Maria will be at Old Trafford next season.

Speaking to reporters, the Dutch tactician said:  "As a manager, you can never say 'yes' or 'no' because the player shall always decide at the end.

The Parisians are reportedly ready to test United’s resolve to keep the attacker with a £60m bid.
