Arsenal face a fight to keep attacker Theo Walcott with reports claiming Premier League rivals, Manchester United and Liverpool, are keen to secure his services.

The England international's future at the North London club is uncertain as he has struggled for minutes on the pitch since returning from long-term knee injury.

Liverpool have reportedly identified the jet-heeled attacker as a potential replacement for Raheem Sterling, who is keen on quitting the Merseyside outfit in the summer and the Red Devils are reportedly monitoring his situation.

The 26-year-old was forced to deny reports on Thursday that he had fallen out with manager Arsene Wenger regarding contract talks.

Walcott addressed the speculation by tweeting: "I don't normally comment on false stories about myself but reports about contract demands and bust-ups with the boss are complete nonsense.

"There have been no contract talks as yet and my current focus is not on contracts but on doing my best for Arsenal."

Walcott, who has 15 months left in his current deal at the Emirates Stadium, has made just five appearances for the Gunners this year.
